🪦 HyperEVM long live HypurrEVM
BLP is native only to HyperCore and will NOT interact with HyperEVM lending protocols via CoreWriter. If you see “Black-White Cat HyperEVM Lending Protocol” hyping themselves because of BLP, and pretending their lending protocol will be part of it, don’t believe them. They’re lying to you. CoreWriter is designed specifically to "write to Core," meaning it only operates from EVM to Core, it cannot access liquidity in the reverse direction (Core → EVM) when interacting with a CoreWriter contract on EVM, it behaves as a standard (normal) address on the HyperCore side CoreWriter on HyperCore is not a smart contract, as HyperCore does not support smart contracts at all. you can't call a smart contract on HyperEVM from HyperCore, e.g., initiate a "borrow" action on EVM lending protocol directly from Core. the connectivity between HyperCore and HyperEVM is asynchronous and non-atomic. Therefore, you can't even upgrade CoreWriter to make it interactable in Core → EVM way. Again, it only works EVM → Core. as a result, it's impossible to initiate a tx from HyperCore to borrow assets on HyperEVM. BLP is an independent borrow-lending protocol on HyperCore which doesn't use HyperEVM. HyperEVM is ded, long live HyperCore.
