Most .hl are bunch of idiots. 1/ Those saying that BLP are bearish for lending protocols on HyperEVM and those saying that it's just to support future multi asset margin are both missing the point. If there's anything that can be built on HyperCore *WITHOUT* sacrificing (cont')
the performance of the orderbook it should be built on HyperCore. At the end of the way it's always more convenient both technical and UX-wise to be on the same execution environment. And yes, it WILL help multi asset margin and other future HyperCore features. 2/ HL's vision is
to be "house of all finance" and to fulfill that vision we need to pull ALL the trigger that we can. That's why we have aligned stablecoins, Builders Code and all those stuffs. Lending isn't the only use cases of HyperEVM, and most of the DeFi stuffs (EXTREMELY important
if you wanna house all finance) can't be on HyperCore regardless due to the lack of programmability/smart contract. 3/ The lack of performance from most current tokens on HyperEVM, and the boring nature of most of those, is an issue but long-term wise, better, more innovate
products will emerge. It's the similar situation with most "Gen 1" Solana DeFi protocols being greedy high FDV launch and just bleed to 0. At the end of the day, HyperEVM's USP is the deep integration with HyperCore. We need more innovate products to leverage that and even offer
extra values to HyperCore users. 4/ Being on Hyperliquid or not, it's still EXTREMELY HARD for a project to achieve PMF + accrue values to the token. Without that, token will, and SHOULD, trend to 0 5/ The best HL eco projects (of the current batch) doesn't even have token yet
Finally, Shut up and let Jeff cook
