The drop in PEPE's value was part of a wider crypto market drawdown, with the CoinDesk 20 index losing 1.8% of its value, and memecoins being especially hard hit.
The CoinDesk Memecoin Index (CDMEME) rose more than 11% in the week, outperforming bitcoin’s 1.4% move.

I’m still heavy in $USELESS going into Q4. My conviction hasn’t changed.
The market looks primed for a strong run, and with $SOL melting up, I expect the meme sector to follow. Coins like $USELESS and $FARTCOIN are set up perfectly to ride that wave.
My thesis stays the same:
- Strongest narrative out of the trenches
- Sellers flushed out after the deep corrections
- Listed on Coinbase, Bybit etc -> retail reach
- Do not fade @theunipcs and the BONK team
- Market looks very good for Q4
Additionally @worldlibertyfi × @bonk_fun have launched multi-million-dollar rewards for September, giving traders up to 60% cashback and creators up to 15% on fees.
Upcoming activity through the WLFI wallet app adds even more fuel which is bullish to me.

Conviction paying off: $USELESS is up ~35% since my first post and remains one of my biggest positions.
With majors like $PEPE and $DOGE ripping over the past couple of days, it looks like the rest of the meme sector is lining up to follow. I expect USELESS to be one of the main beneficiaries.
My view hasn’t changed:
- Strongest trenches narrative this cycle
- Deep correction already flushed weak hands
- Listed across major exchanges → real retail access
- Leader of the BONK FUN ecosystem
- Do not fade @theunipcs.
Momentum and sentiment across the meme market are heating up as $SOL continues climbing, and USELESS has the perfect setup to catch the next leg.
