Climbing the Mountain Alone
Finding a job right now feels like screaming into the void
I have applied I have followed up I have built a portfolio I have reached out on LinkedIn I have messaged hiring managers and founders on X I keep showing up
And most days I get left on read or just ignored completely And yeah it makes you question your value even when you know exactly what you bring to the table
This is not just me complaining for the sake of it
>This is burnout
>This is exhaustion from doing the work from doing the outreach from being in the rooms and still being kept on the outside
I have been to nearly every Arbitrum DAO governance call, I have offered my help my recruiting expertise my strategy, I have tried to help source both technical and non technical talent And still No one has opened a door
People keep saying the same thing
>Stand out
>Build your personal brand
>Make noise
>Just show up
And honestly I do not know what more I can do
It feels like none of that matters if you do not fit the vibe
If you are not part of the inner circle, If you are not seen as a culture fit even when you are the right actual fit
Nothing has ever been handed to me
I have always worked for it But lately it feels like I am trying to force myself into spaces that just do not want me there, Even when I am present even when I put in effort, I open doors for people, I help where I can
I lift others up, And I sit here wondering why those doors are not being opened for me too
I wonder if calling things out publicly even helps
I wonder if recruiters even care about anything beyond a flashy cold DM, I see people who spend most of their time on LinkedIn get celebrated for minimal effort while I sit here at my lowest in years still trying to stay upright
I do not envy anyone's success
I am just tired of climbing alone
But I will keep climbing
Because that is what I do
