I have been seeing a lot of Africans already making it to Argentina for @EFDevcon… and I’m genuinely happy about it. Huge appreciation to the Ethereum Foundation for opening the door. The special entry authorization they coordinated with Argentina’s authorities took a real barrier and turned it into access. Shoutout to the people who pushed this over the line - @SantiagoDevRel, @kokebsolomon, and everyone who spent hours on calls, paperwork, and follow ups. You helped African builders show up on a global stage. For context, this trip usually means a long visa maze: scarce embassy slots, travel to Abuja, invitation letters, bank statement, in-person interviews, then weeks of waiting with flights on hold. Instead, EF worked with the right offices to provide a clear path that let people focus on learning, networking, and building. I won’t be at this year’s Devconnect, but I’m rooting for everyone in Buenos Aires. Soak up the sessions, meet collaborators, represent the continent well, and bring the knowledge home. This is what a truly global ecosystem looks like. Thank you @ethereumfndn and everyone who made it possible.
